初期喷码为英文字母A加10位阿拉伯数字(如A0012345678)，每版邮票仅一个无色荧光喷码。2002年下半年起陆续改为邮票上逐枚喷打不同位数阿拉伯数字后接一位英文字母的荧光喷码(如0123B)。英文字母代表出厂年份，A为2002年，B为2003年…以此类推。喷码数字位数为从“01”开始的2位数自然进位至7到9位数，喷码首位数字为0。尚未出厂的A+10喷码全张在2002年末也陆续喷加逐枚喷打喷码，为了避开边纸上的A+10明码而旋转180度进行喷打，从而形成具有过渡性质的双码。
