Understanding stamp condition is essential for valuation and collection.

Condition Grades

Mint (M) – 新票

Original gum, never hinged. Perfect centering and color.

Mint Hinged (MH) – 轻贴

Original gum with small hinge mark. Otherwise perfect.

Very Fine (VF) – 上品

Minor imperfections barely visible. Well-centered.

Fine (F) – 中品

Noticeable but not serious flaws. Adequate centering.

Average (Avg) – 下品

Significant flaws, heavy cancellations, or poor centering.

Used (U) – 信销票

Postally used with cancellation. Value depends on cancellation quality.
