Mount Mogan is located in Deqing County, Huzhou City, northern Zhejiang Province, within the core area of the Yangtze River Delta. It takes its name from the Spring and Autumn period legend of Gan Jiang and Mo Ye, who forged swords here. It is celebrated for the “three splendours” of bamboo, cloud and spring, and the “four excellences” of clarity, tranquillity, coolness and greenery. It is a national scenic area and national tourist resort, known as a “museum of modern world architecture” and one of China’s four major summer resorts.

This stamp set selects three classic scenes of Mount Mogan: the Flying Waterfall of Sword Pond, the International Villas, and the Sunrise above Cloud Sea. Using landscape as ink and time as brush, it outlines a moving ancient‑to‑modern panorama within a tiny stamp frame, fully revealing the cultural depth and graceful beauty of this famous historical mountain.

(3‑1) Flying Waterfall of Sword Pond: Tells the ancient legend of Mount Mogan. The stamp focuses on the moment the Sword Pond waterfall plunges down from green cliffs, surrounded by lush bamboo, pines and rocky walls, recounting the legend of Gan Jiang and Mo Ye forging swords. The flying waterfall is like silver, and the sword‑spirit like a rainbow, resonating through the ages. It is both a marvellous work of nature and the historical foundation of Mount Mogan.

(3‑2) Mountain Villas among Greenery: Presents the architectural character of Mount Mogan. This stamp captures many villas of different styles hidden among bamboo groves. Built following the mountain terrain, they rise in layered arrangement; red tiles, grey bricks, green bamboo and sturdy pines enhance one another. Every roof, porch and terrace carries the marks of Mount Mogan’s development and reform, where East and West meet, collide and blend.

(3‑3) Sunrise above Cloud Sea: Depicts the sunrise over Mount Mogan. The stamp freezes the magnificent moment of sunrise at Xuguang Terrace, a prime viewpoint for watching sunrise, where heaven and earth exchange light. Distant mountains appear like dark jade, cloud waves like a sea, and thousands of golden rays dress the rolling hills in brocade, showing Mount Mogan embracing a bright new future.

The set is printed with high‑line‑count photogravure, delivering saturated colours and rich layers that accurately restore the graceful natural scenery of Mount Mogan. Distant mountains and clouds show multicolour gradients and clear layering, creating spatial depth and realism. Special inks make mountain slopes, trees and leaves sparkle under light. The overall printed effect precisely reproduces the delicate layers of the original artwork while giving the stamps stronger artistic appeal, making viewers feel as if they were breathing the fresh nature of Mount Mogan. Under ultraviolet light, the sky emits bright dawn rays, while the mountains and leaves glow with vivid emerald green.

莫干山位于浙江省北部湖州市德清县境内，地处长三角核心区域，因春秋时期干将、莫邪夫妇铸剑而得名，以“竹、云、泉”三胜和“清、静、凉、绿”四优著称，是国家级风景名胜区、国家级旅游度假区，被称为“世界近代建筑博物馆”，是中国“四大避暑胜地”之一。

本套邮票选取莫干山剑池飞瀑、万国别墅、旭光云海三大经典景观，以山水为墨、时光为笔，于方寸间勾勒出穿越古今的动人画卷，充分彰显这座历史文化名山的人文底蕴与灵秀之美。

（3‑1）剑池飞瀑：叙述了莫干山的古老传说。邮票画面聚焦剑池瀑布自苍崖飞泻而下的刹那，与周边环绕的茂林翠柏、苍岩石壁共同讲述干将、莫邪铸剑的传奇故事。飞瀑如银、剑气如虹，激荡起亘古的回响，这既是造化钟神秀的自然杰作，更是莫干山厚重的历史根基。

El sello muestra el momento en que la cascada del estanque se desploma desde los riscos verdes, rodeada de bambúes exuberantes, pinos y rocas, recreando la leyenda de Gan Jiang y Mo Ye forjando espadas. La cascada vuela como plata y el espíritu de la espada como arcoíris, resonando a través de los siglos. Es tanto una maravilla natural como el sólido cimiento histórico del monte Mogan.

(3‑2) Villas entre el verde: Presenta el carácter arquitectónico del monte Mogan. Este sello recopila numerosas villas de distintos estilos ocultas entre los bambúes. Construidas siguiendo el relieve, se ordenan en niveles superpuestos; tejas rojas, ladrillos grises, bambúes verdes y pinos robustos se complementan. Cada tejado, cada porche y cada terraza guarda las huellas del desarrollo y la reforma del monte Mogan, donde el diálogo entre Oriente y Occidente choca, se encuentra y se funde.

(3‑3) Amanecer sobre el mar de nubes: Describe el amanecer del monte Mogan. El sello congela el magnífico momento del sol naciente en la terraza Xuguang, el mejor mirador para ver el amanecer, donde cielo y tierra se iluminan mutuamente. Las montañas lejanas son como jade oscuro, las olas de nubes como un mar, y miles de rayos dorados visten las colinas continuas con brocado, mostrando que el monte Mogan abraza un futuro nuevo y brillante.
