Modern bridges are an important embodiment of a country’s scientific and technological level and comprehensive national strength. With the rapid development of China’s economy and the continuous improvement of independent innovation capabilities, modern bridges connect rivers, lakes and mountains, build bridges of happiness for the people, and show the extraordinary strength of “built in China” to the world. The Shanghai-Sutong Yangtze River Highway and Railway Bridge is the world’s first cable-stayed bridge with a main span of kilometers independently designed and built by China, realizing five “world firsts”, which is a milestone in the history of railway bridge construction in China and even the world. The Oujiang Beikou Bridge is the world’s first three-tower, four-span double-deck steel truss girder suspension bridge, which adopts the design of “two bridges built together” and has three world-class firsts. The Pingnan Third Bridge is the world’s largest span concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge that has been completed and opened to traffic. During the construction of the project, a total of 20 research topics were set up and 58 national invention patents were awarded. The first bridge of the Beipanjiang River connects Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, using a double-tower four-lane steel truss cable-stayed bridge structure, with a vertical distance of 565 meters from the bridge deck to the river surface, which is equivalent to the height of a 200-story building, and is currently the world’s tallest and second largest span steel truss cable-stayed bridge.

邮票图案采用水彩的艺术表现形式，运用干湿结合的创作手法，结合俯视、仰视、平视等不同视角，展现出桥梁的外形特点和凌空飞架、穿江越岭的宏伟气势，同时展现出桥旁优美的生态环境和独特的自然景观。
