Background:
China Post is scheduled to issue a set of special stamps themed Hainan Free Trade Port on December 18, 2025. The set includes 1 stamp with the denomination of 1.20 yuan, and the planned circulation is 4.9 million sets.

December 18, 2025, will witness the official launch of the full-island customs closure operation of the Hainan Free Trade Port. This major measure marks a brand-new stage in China’s opening-up drive. It is of great significance for accelerating the gathering of high-quality global factors and boosting the high-quality development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

With the Hainan Free Trade Port Logo as the main visual element, the stamp features the slogan “Customs Closure Operation, Expanded Opening-up” in the upper left corner. The background incorporates elements such as the Wuzhi Mountains, rice ears, rockets, the Deep Sea Warrior submersible, and data transmission patterns (invisible fluorescent ink). These elements showcase a new blueprint for high-quality development guided by the “Five-Pronged Strategy for Strength Enhancement”, symbolizing the Hainan Free Trade Port’s resolute march toward the goal of building a globally influential free trade port with Chinese characteristics.

The stamp is printed with the high-line gravure printing process and six-color printing technology, which accurately reproduces the colors of the original artwork and embodies its profound connotations. Based on a soft blue gradient, the stamp boasts bright and vivid colors with distinct layers, thanks to the high color saturation of the gravure printing technique. Under ultraviolet light, the glowing lighthouse and the yellow fluorescent effect of the cables are clearly visible on the stamp. This design not only enhances visual appeal but also endows the stamp with anti-counterfeiting features and an interesting viewing experience.

The stamp set is designed by Han Binghua, edited by Wen Wenya, and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. using gravure printing technology.

本套邮票采用高网线影写版印制工艺六色印刷，精准还原了原稿的色彩，体现了原稿的丰富内涵。邮票以柔和的蓝色渐变为基调，影写工艺高饱和度的特点使得邮票色彩鲜艳明快，层次更加分明。在紫外灯照射下，灯塔发光的景象和电缆的黄色荧光清晰呈现于画面之上，既增强了视觉吸引力，又赋予邮票防伪性能与趣味体验。
