Taijiquan(Tai Chi Chuan) is one of the most characteristic traditional sports of the Chinese nation, which is based on the dialectical concepts of Taiji and Yin and Yang in traditional Chinese Confucian and Taoist philosophy as the core ideas, integrating various functions such as nurturing temperament, strengthening the body, and fighting techniques, combined with the changes of the five elements of yin and yang, traditional Chinese medicine, ancient guidance techniques and tuna techniques. Its audience is broad and generational.
This set of stamps is expressed in the form of Gongbi characters, the overall color is mainly black, white and gray, and the background is ink-and-fly white to reflect the peaceful, inclusive, and simple artistic conception of Tai Chi. The first one shows a white-haired and long-bearded old man who is calmly and calmly doing Taijiquan single whip movements, reflecting the tradition of Taijiquan and the role of prolonging life. The background is expressed with free-flowing ink brushstrokes and textures, which accompany the movements of the old man to produce an invisible charm. The second is a heroic and sassy sword dancing woman, and the air flow looming in the background, reflecting the characteristics of the Taiji sword flowing clouds. The third is a pair of young men and women who push Tai Chi, a man and a woman, one black and one white symbolizing the yin and yang of Tai Chi, and the ink texture behind it vaguely forms the concept of yin and yang, portraying the scene of “Yin and Yang Tai Chi follow each other, and the movement and static virtual and real push hands”.

该套邮票采用工笔人物形式表现，整体色调以黑白灰为主，背景采用水墨飞白映衬太极拳平和、包容、大道至简的意境。第一枚表现了一位白发长须老者，正气定神闲地做着太极拳单鞭动作，体现出太极拳的传统和延年益寿的作用。背景用挥洒自如的水墨笔触和肌理来表现，伴随老者动作产生无形气韵。第二枚是一位英姿飒爽的舞剑女子，背景中如影随形的气流若隐若现，体现出太极剑行云流水的特点。第三枚是一对进行太极拳推手的男女青年，一男一女、一黑一白象征太极的阴阳相济，背后的水墨肌理隐约形成阴阳的概念，刻画出“阴阳太极本相随、动静虚实把手推”的场景。
