这套邮票基本上反映了任弼时一生最主要的经历。
3-1为“任弼时在长征途中”。这枚邮票就是1937年长征到达陕北后任弼时的形象。
3-2为“在‘七大’会上”。1945年4-6月，中国共产党第七次全国代表大会在延安隆重举行。这就是任弼时在大会上讲话的情形。
3-3为“在解放军检阅式上”。这是1949年中共中央及人民解放军总部迁入北平，任弼时在西郊机场阅兵的形象。
