Ouyang Xiu (1007-1072), the word Yongshu, the number of drunkards, the late number “Liuyi Jushi”, Jizhou Yongfeng (now Jiangxi) people, ranked among the “Tang and Song Dynasty Eight Masters” and “Four Ancient Articles”, for the Northern Song Dynasty poetry and literature innovation movement leader, “Ouyang Wenzhong Collection” and other generations.
Su Shi (1037-1101), the name Zizhan, the number of Dongpo layman, Meizhou Meishan (now Sichuan), and his father Su Xun and younger brother Su Zhe are collectively known as the “Three Su”, all of which are listed as the “Eight Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties”. Su Shi’s poems, lyrics, and literature are excellent, and he was the leader of the literary world in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty.
Li Qingzhao (1084 – about 1155), known as Yi’an Jushi, a native of Zhangqiu, Jinan (now Shandong), known as “the first talented woman in the ages”, was a representative lyricist of the Song Dynasty.
Lu You (1125-1210), the concept of character affairs, the number of Weng, Yuezhou Shanyin (now Zhejiang) people. Lu You’s achievements in poetry creation are particularly outstanding, and he is known as one of the “Four Great Masters of Zhongxing in the Southern Song Dynasty”, and has been handed down from generation to generation, such as “Jiannan Poems” and “Weinan Anthology”.
Xin Qiji (1140-1207), the original word Tanfu, changed the word You’an, the number Jiaxuan Jushi, Licheng (now Shandong) people, with the achievement of the word as the highest, for the Southern Song Dynasty bold faction representative of the lyricist. His lyrics have a wide range of themes, and his style is gloomy and desolate, tragic and heroic, and there are “Jiaxuan Ci” and other hand-me-downs.

The stamps are expressed in the form of Chinese ink freehand figure painting, which is shaped by lines, expressive and heartfelt, and the pen and ink are hearty and spiritual, and the style is heroic and subtle, depicting the rich and profound inner world of the writer. This set of stamps was designed by Ma Zhensheng and printed by Beijing Stamp Factory Co., Ltd. using the photocopy process, and the poems and prose sentences corresponding to the scenes depicted in the picture can be enjoyed under the purple light.

欧阳修（1007年－1072年），字永叔，号醉翁，晚号“六一居士”，吉州永丰（今属江西）人，名列“唐宋八大家”“千古文章四大家”，为北宋诗文革新运动的领袖，有《欧阳文忠公集》等传世。
苏轼（1037年—1101年），字子瞻，号东坡居士，眉州眉山（今属四川）人，与父亲苏洵、弟弟苏辙合称“三苏”，均名列“唐宋八大家”。苏轼的诗、词、文俱佳，为北宋中期文坛领袖，有《东坡七集》《东坡乐府》等传世。
李清照（1084年—约1155 年），号易安居士，济南章丘（今属山东）人，有“千古第一才女”之称，为宋代婉约派代表词人，提出“词别是一家”之说，前期词风清丽，后期悲叹身世、情调感伤，后人辑有《漱玉词》。
陆游（1125年—1210年），字务观，号放翁，越州山阴（今属浙江）人。陆游在诗歌创作上的成就尤其突出，被誉为“南宋中兴四大家”之一，有《剑南诗稿》《渭南文集》等传世。
辛弃疾（1140年—1207年），原字坦夫，改字幼安，号稼轩居士，历城（今属山东）人，以词的成就为最高，为南宋豪放派代表词人。他的词题材广阔，风格沉郁苍凉、悲壮豪放，有《稼轩词》等传世。

邮票采用中国水墨写意人物画的表现方式，以线造型，传神写心，笔墨酣畅而神形兼备，气格豪迈且不失精微，刻画出文学家丰富而深刻的内心世界。此套邮票由马振声设计，北京邮票厂有限公司采用影写版工艺印制，紫光灯下可欣赏与画面人物刻画场景所对应的诗词散文名句。
