P.S. “Black Cat Sheriff” is China’s first popular science animation series, by the Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio in 1984 based on Zhu Zhixiang’s scientific fairy tale of the same name, Dai Tielang, Fan Madi, Xiong Nanqing directed by 5 episodes of animation film tells the witty, brave, handsome black cat sheriff led the police officers to annihilate hamsters, crack the mantis case, eliminate “one ear” and other cases endangering forest safety one after another, so that all kinds of animals in the forest live a peaceful and worry-free life, deeply loved by children. It has become a good memory for children in the 1980s and 1990s. In addition to animal science knowledge, the film also designs a large number of “high-tech” equipment such as motor airships, which stimulate children’s imagination and broaden children’s horizons while entertaining and educating, and walk ahead of the times in ideological, artistic and commercial exploration, and create the prototype of Chinese TV animation series.

P.S.《黑猫警长》是我国第一部科普动画系列片，由上海美术电影制片厂于1984年根据诸志祥同名科学童话改编，戴铁郎、范马迪、熊南清执导的5集动画片讲述了机智、勇敢、帅气的黑猫警长率领警士痛歼搬仓鼠，破侦螳螂案，消灭“一只耳”等一个又一个危害森林安全的案件，令森林中的各种动物过上安枕无忧日子的故事，深受孩子们的喜爱，成为八九十年代少年儿童的美好记忆。影片除了动物科学知识，还设计了摩托飞艇等大量“高科技”装备，在寓教于乐的同时，激发孩子们的想象力，开拓孩子们的视野，在思想性、艺术性和商业性探索上走在了时代的前面，并且开创了中国电视动画连续剧之雏形。

该套邮票由尚盈设计，表现了动画中制服强盗、捉捕恶鹰、保卫家园、并肩作战、大获全胜5个故事情节，突出展现了黑猫警长英姿飒爽、智勇双全的经典动画形象。
