Constitution of PRC was enacted in 1954 and amended in 1975, 1978 and 1982 respectively. In 1988, it was further revised with respect to some particular clauses. This set of stamp is the fourth one issued by China which takes constitution as its main contents. The cover of the Constitution of PRC is designed in the center of the stamp, with a pair of phoenix fluttering, indicating designer’s wishes to the prosperity of the country and the peaceful life of the people.
